For the Retail team, I handle print production for in-store materials and collaborate on packaging with the Wholesale team.

  • File Organization and System Improvement

Before diving into my work at Knix, I’d like to highlight how much I value a well-organized file system. I took the initiative to reorganize our files and folders, making it easier for the team to locate resources, saving time, and reducing unnecessary back-and-forth. To ensure the system benefited everyone, I collaborated with the team to understand their needs and ensure the organization reflected multiple perspectives. The outcome was well-received, and the team appreciated the improved structure. This approach also aligned with the brand’s value of simplicity, keeping things streamlined and accessible for all.

  • Product Team - Packaging

For the Product Team, I’m responsible for creating and updating production files for our products. I collaborate closely with the team to develop new layout concepts, mock them up, and then apply these designs across over 300 products in various formats, including poly bags, envelopes, and boxes.

I collaborate with team members and vendors to ensure the best possible print results. Since we work with multiple vendors, I prioritize clear and precise communication to maintain consistency and avoid confusion. I’ve rebuilt our production files for clarity, incorporating mock-up images below to serve as a reference for vendors, particularly for print placements and sticker positioning.

By staying on top of updates and ensuring seamless coordination, I’ve helped the company meet production deadlines for the first time while consistently maintaining brand standards.

  • Production Team

I support every product launch by overseeing off-figure imagery, ensuring accurate color correction and retouching. I make sure product colors are true to life so customers receive what they see online. I provide freelance retouchers with color references, notes, and working files when available, and I give final approval on imagery as needed. I also step in to assist with both on- and off-figure retouching during urgent projects.

  • Digital Merchandising Team

I assist with production support for digital assets, including resizing and exporting assets for online merchandising, website updates, and campaigns. I ensure all digital materials align with our brand guidelines and meet the correct specifications for various digital platforms.

  • Retail Team

I manage the print production of in-store materials, ensuring all designs follow brand guidelines. This includes creating print-ready files for materials like window decals, large-scale images, and signage. I also collaborate with the Wholesale team to prepare print materials such as shipping boxes and packaging for retailers like Costco, ensuring everything is optimized for both print and digital use.
